PROJECTS TYPE

The type of project work is determined by what kind of product we will get as a result of our project activities. Each type of project has its own norm and its own assessment criteria.

  1. The evaluation criteria at each stage show HOW to make sure that the work is of good quality.
  2. The project presentation templates are structured to remind participants HOW to talk about their work.
  3. Examples of work are designed to give participants a reference point and help them avoid common mistakes and errors.
Choose the type of project you're interested in and check out the materials that help.

Research project

The result of this type of project activity is the acquisition of new knowledge. The school research project is carried out according by the standards of scientific research. At the end of the project we expect to receive the text of the research paper and presentation materials.

Technology Entrepreneurship Project

The result of this type of project activity is the creation of a product prototype that has the potential for commercialization. The school project on technological entrepreneurship is modelled on the models of technological start-ups. In the end, we expect to receive a product prototype and make sure it is in demand among a solvent target audience or in the non-profit sector.

SUBJECT SECTION OF PROJECT WORK

The project type at the "Start to Innovate" depends on the product in which the result of the project activity is expressed. The section depends on the subject and knowledge component that the participant needs to fulfil the project work.

The definition of the subject section at "Start to Innovate" fulfils two functions:
  • helps participants to focus on obtaining the necessary knowledge;
  • helps the organisers to choose the necessary composition of the expert jury to evaluate the projects at each stage of the conference;

How to choose a subject section for project work?

Your choice of a subject section should be based on what subject knowledge and competencies are needed to meaningfully develop the project.
